Help! My Husband Turned Out to Be a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

I really need some advice and support right now. I recently discovered something about my husband, Jack, that has completely shattered my world. We’ve been married for two years, and I thought everything was perfect. But then I stumbled upon a conversation he had with his friend Christian, where he said, “Mówiłem wam, że będzie moja. A wraz z nią pieniądze jej tatusia też będą moje.” For those who don’t understand Polish, it means, “I told you she would be mine. And with her, her daddy’s money will be mine too.”

I feel so betrayed and heartbroken. I thought Jack loved me for who I am, but it turns out he was just after my family’s money. I don’t know what to do or how to confront him about this. Should I talk to him directly? Should I involve my family? Or should I just pack my bags and leave?

My friends Charlotte and Arianna have been supportive, but they don’t know what to say either. Gregory suggested I get a lawyer involved, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for that step yet. Ruby thinks I should give Jack a chance to explain himself, but honestly, I’m scared of what he might say.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Any advice on how to move forward would be greatly appreciated. I’m feeling so lost and confused right now.
