Help! My Husband Had a Fight with My Relatives for No Reason

I really need some advice and support right now. My husband, Benjamin, recently had a huge argument with my relatives, and honestly, it was over nothing significant. It all started at a family gathering where things got a bit heated. I think it was just a misunderstanding, but now Benjamin is adamant about not having any contact with them.

To give you some context, my family means a lot to me. We’re pretty close-knit, and it’s really hard for me to see this rift forming. My relatives, especially my cousin Kyle and my sister Victoria, are trying to reach out and make amends, but Benjamin is just not having it. He’s really stubborn about this whole thing and says he doesn’t want to be around them anymore.

I’ve tried talking to him about it, but he just shuts down the conversation or gets defensive. I’m stuck in the middle and it’s tearing me apart. I love Benjamin, but I also love my family and don’t want to be forced to choose between them.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Should I keep pushing Benjamin to reconcile, or should I give him some space and hope he comes around on his own? Any tips on how to mediate this situation would be super helpful.
