Seeking Advice: Struggling with In-Laws’ Decision

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m in a bit of a tough spot and could really use some advice. My name is Nova, and my husband Frank and I have been married for a few years now. Recently, Frank’s parents made a decision that has left us both feeling hurt and confused.

To give you some context, Frank’s parents decided to transfer ownership of their apartment to his younger sister, Valentina. Since this decision was made, I haven’t been able to communicate with them. I just don’t understand why they would act so unfairly towards their own son. Frank has always been there for his family, and this feels like a huge slap in the face.

I’m struggling with how to move forward. Should I try to talk to them and express how we feel? Or is it better to keep my distance and let Frank handle it? I don’t want to create more tension, but I also don’t want to ignore the issue.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your help.

Best,

Nova
