Help! My Son’s Marriage Decision is Tearing Our Family Apart

I really need some advice and support right now. My son, Eugene, recently decided to marry a girl named Alice. When he first told me about his decision, I was totally against it. Alice comes from a very humble background, and I was worried about how that might affect their future together. I know it sounds harsh, but I just wanted the best for Eugene.

But here’s the twist – life had some unexpected surprises in store for us. After spending more time with Alice, I started to see what Eugene sees in her. She’s kind, hardworking, and genuinely loves my son. Despite her financial situation, she’s got a heart of gold and has been nothing but supportive of Eugene.

Now, I’m feeling really conflicted. On one hand, I want to support my son’s happiness and accept Alice into our family with open arms. On the other hand, I can’t shake off my initial concerns about their financial stability and future challenges they might face.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Should I just let go of my worries and trust that love will conquer all? Or should I have a serious talk with Eugene about my concerns? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
