Many young families in the U.S. find themselves unable to afford their own homes, often resorting to renting apartments or houses. While some parents step in to help their children financially, others, like in my case, choose not to. Despite having the means, my mother and grandmother refuse to assist, leaving my husband Kyle and me to navigate our financial woes alone.
